When XBox came to me and said they needed a page on their website to promote international Talk Like A Pirate Day I decided to batten down the hatches and create something that would really shiver their timbers!

They had no imagery or branding whatsoever so all the graphics had to be created from scratch. They also had an extremely tight deadline so coffee and late nights ensued.

They needed the page to promote content that was already available on the Microsoft XBox site which was also priate related. Creating branded pages on existing sites can be tricky but is a great way to push your own design skills to make something that really stands out.

Hotmail use competitions to promote their product online via the Windows Live website. Hotmail Stories was a portal where users could upload their own stories on a particular subject which also included the use of Hotmail. The story with the most Facebook "Likes" would win a fantastic prize.

February's theme was "Love" stories. I decided to style each months theme differently to keep the competition fresh and engaging.

March's theme was "April Fool" stories in time for the following month. I think out of the set of three designs this was my favourite and also some of the stories people came up with were priceless!

The final theme was "Britishness" which was a bit of a challenge but thanks to some good communications with the client we reached a strong end product. The competition recieved thousands of votes and was promoted all over the web.

When names like Deadmau5 and Puma hook up to create something new you know people are going to take notice. The brief was to create a takeover page on Last.Fm to promote the new range of Deadmau5 x Puma trainers.

The client want to create something that user could interact with whilst learning about the product. I decided that creating an interface that looked like the Deadmau5 graphic equaliser would give us the ability to make something fresh.

Using Last.Fm's api library we created an interactive experience where users could enter their login name and then an animated interface would display their own personal date in a cool way. Combinded with supporting advertising the campaign was a great success, even getting a write up on NMA.

When Bing purchased Multimap the move of loyal users to Bing Maps had to be handled in a clear yet approachable way. To do this I created a one page design using graphics that were familiar to users and clear digestable information. I also worked with animator Mark West on an informative, interactive video.

The original branding was created by Aardman so it was a pleasue working with this style to produce a range of supporting graphics for the project with included newsletters and flash acvertising.

The brief for Photo-Me was to redesign their website whilst creating a gobal identity all their subsidaries from all around the world who already had their own branding. They wanted a fully dynamic and modern website that understood the restriction of an international audience.

A pitching process between 40 design companies first had to be won to gain Photo-Me as a client and although there were many meetings to be had before the final design was agreed I was very pleased with the end result.

Designing the website for Oval Cube was great fun as it was the company i worked for. This was a full rebrand and I let my imagination run free. My boss was very fond of the "grunge" style so this gave me a base to work from.

I moved a lot between Illustrator and Photoshop and tried out lots of different layouts. Creating the XHTML and CSS was a bit of a challenge, especially to make it work accross browsers, but it's important for a web designer to be able take a design and transfer it to code.

Reebok Sports Club - London needed their website updated with a fresh modern look with dynamic ways of updating their clients with information about the club. They eventually went with another design but i was pleased with these concepts.

This was probably my favourite out of all the concepts we sent them.

Ready Made Design was great fun to work on as the client wanted a quirky fun style. This was a complete start up and gave me the chance to come up with many ideas of how to go about selling the end product. Creating the XHTML and CSS was a challenge but enjoyable.

I had to do quite a lot of drawing for this project which is always enjoyable when you're not an illustrator but feel the urge to draw now and again.

Aston Lloyd came to my company struggling with a difficult to use, navigate, out of date website. There was a very tight turn around for this project but with careful planning and a few late nights we delivered a clean, corporate website.

Aston Lloyd also need their monthly print brochures designed and laid out which was a challenge but enjoyable to take on.

Worldwide Shows and Events put on large exhibitions all around the world for different industries. They wanted a modern corporate website to show off their expertise.

Back in 2008 they put on their own exhibition called Arabia 2008. The branding was already done but they need a number of major newspaper adverts created and delivered. This was a massive challenge and taught me a lot.

Croydon may not be the most glamorous part of the world but the Clocktower, situated in the town center, is very special. This beautiful building holds all kinds of events and needed a website where they could showcase these events and sell tickets.

Being owned and run by the council the design for the Croydon Clocktower had to be quite restrained but I think we managed to find a nice mix of sensible and stylish.

Image Essence are a succefull photography company that needed a rebrand of their website. They wanted something modern, dynamic but also something that made a feature of their photography whilst attracting business.

The clients also wanted some new varitaions made of their existing logo.
Listed below are a number of other clients i have undertaken work for. If you’d like to know any information about my involvement with them then just drop me a message.
